At WSP, we are seeking a Senior Environmental (EIA) Consultant to support our Environmental Management and Assessment Team in the UK. The role is based from any of WSP’s UK offices. Our projects span sectors such as renewables, aviation, nuclear, and rail. We need creative, dedicated professionals with a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Role

You will work with technical environmental specialists and design teams to manage environmental inputs, improve project sustainability, and support environmental assessments. Responsibilities include managing project tasks such as EIA screening, scoping, environmental management plans, and Statements, overseeing project performance, client engagement, and business development activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant environmental degree qualification in EIA or similar
  • Working towards or achieved Chartered Environmental Status and IEMA membership
  • Experience with EIA processes and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of environmental and planning legislation
  • Post-qualified experience in environmental assessments
  • Project management skills, including commercial and risk management
  • Experience in bid preparation and work winning
  • Excellent communication skills, report writing, and attention to detail
