To lead PureGym's Paid Search strategy across UK, Denmark, Switzerland and US, maximising awareness, consideration and new joiners within stated budgets.
The Team PureGym's Digital marketing team drive high volume, low cost joiner acquisition for our 600+ gyms across UK, Denmark, Switzerland and the US. With close relationships with Google, Meta and other partners, we aim to leverage latest best practice to drive the best possible results, inspiring as many people as possible to live healthier lives with PureGym.
The role:
- To act as the lead on all aspects of the Paid Search strategy for UK, Denmark, Switzerland and the US
- Line management and leadership responsibilities for a PPC Executive including training, mentoring and professional development
- Maximise cost effective joiner acquisition from PPC & PMAX
- Implement strategic planning, to develop both long and short term plans for all business units, working with a broad range of stakeholders in the group
- Working with internal teams to ensure effective promotion of offers across PPC and PMAX across the group
- Ensure campaigns work to agreed budgets and phasing per market
- Develop and maximise relationships with external partners and suppliers such as Google & Microsoft to ensure PureGym Group activity is following latest industry best practice
- Regularly leverage data-driven insights to inform how we should implement optimizations and split investment across campaigns for the best possible results
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement in Paid Search processes to ensure standardisation and scalability across all markets
- Continually seek to test and learn, and engaging in various forms of iterative testing to drive performance improvements across all accounts
- Keep up-to-date with wider industry trends and developments, bringing fresh ideas and thinking to the business to develop long and short term planning
- Any other ad hoc duties
The person:
- Is passionate about digital marketing, keen to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Direct experience of managing Paid Search campaigns for a minimum of 3 years, either in-house or at a digital agency
- Experience managing complex accounts, with large budgets, ideally in Fitness/Health/Leisure/Retail sector(s).
- Has in-depth knowledge of managing through platforms such as Google ads, Microsoft ads & SA360.
- Knowledgeable and experienced using Google Analytics
- Has strong analytical skills, highly capable of manipulating datasets & problem solving.
- Has a track record in critically assessing performance, producing actionable insights.
- Has a creative & commercial mindset, capable of crafting messages and assets that resonate with varying audiences
- Proven time management & organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interested in sport & fitness

- Can effectively build strong working relationships and networks to enable success
