Job Overview

Bluecoat Beechdale Academy seeks a committed Lead Teacher of Science to support the management and leadership of the Science Department. The role involves contributing to raising student attainment and achieving departmental improvement targets.

The Lead Teacher will assist the Head of Department in planning and delivering the science curriculum, promoting high standards and expectations.

This position is suitable for an experienced teacher looking to develop curriculum management skills. The candidate should be an excellent classroom practitioner, enthusiastic about developing schemes of learning, and capable of policy development and review.
