We’re working with an established, forward-thinking organisation made up of several specialist brands, all under one umbrella. With ambitions to elevate their digital presence, they’re now looking to expand their marketing department and bring in a talented social media/content pro. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and data-led social media/content marketer who enjoys both strategy and hands-on content creation. What the role looks like:
- You’ll lead on social media strategy and execution across a small portfolio of brands, working closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, creative, and senior leadership teams.
- With freedom to develop new approaches and test fresh ideas, you’ll be key to shaping the voice and engagement strategy of the business across various social platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a social media strategy aligned with wider business goals.
- Manage and schedule content calendars across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms.
- Curate, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content tailored to each brand.
- Align closely with senior leadership and sales teams to support commercial objectives.
- Use data and analytics to optimise activity and report on performance.
- Monitor relevant industry conversations and engage where appropriate.
- Encourage internal brand advocacy and employee amplification.
About you:
- 2+ years’ experience in a dedicated social media and content creator role (even better if you have 3-5 years).
- Strong understanding of B2B social strategy and audience engagement.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, including multimedia assets.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven, with a proactive and creative mindset.
- Organised with strong time and project management skills.
Even better if you have experience in:
- LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics, or similar analytics tools.
- Video editing.
- 3D asset creation (e.g. Blender or similar software).
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ipswich, Suffolk. The ideal candidate will be based in or around Ipswich or within a commutable distance of locations such as Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Hadleigh, Manningtree, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Needham Market, Diss, Eye, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Harwich, Clacton-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Witham, or other well-connected towns across Suffolk and Essex.
