What Is the Opportunity? Delivers concise and accurate risk control services to clients in the assigned territory to assist in the control and prevention of losses. Provides technical advice and account information to underwriting business partners for risk assessment and analysis. We are looking for someone based in the South/South West of England.
What Will You Do?
- Conduct risk control surveys at client locations to determine potential hazards and risk factors for underwriting/risk selection.
- Write technically detailed reports that provide a clear assessment of risk and articulate recommendations.
- Consult with clients on hazard control to reduce or prevent losses.
- Build and maintain relationships with underwriting and service teams, brokers/agents, claims, other Risk Control staff, and clients.
- Research for underwriters or clients on class of business, operations, or technical subjects.
- Analyze loss trends and identify opportunities to provide risk control products/services to reduce losses.
- Stay updated on regulatory environment and emerging safety issues.
- Operate according to company policies, procedures, and controls.
- Assist in creating and maintaining materials and guidelines for clients/brokers, including training and presentations.
- Consult and negotiate with professionals and authorities regarding loss control management and compliance.
- Promote Travelers' products and philosophy through client visits, maximizing growth and profit opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
