We seek an Assistant Director to lead within our fast-growing financial crime consulting business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Shaping, developing, and growing BeyondFS's financial crime propositions.
- Contributing to sales and business development through achieving personal targets.
- Leading and delivering complex transformation programmes, expanding client accounts, and participating in go-to-market campaigns.
- Supporting recruitment and other people-related activities.
- Managing internal projects.

Successful candidate must be able to evidence:
- 10-15+ years in financial services within banking and consulting, with diverse experience across products, operational disciplines, and compliance systems globally.
- Experience leading or deputising EC 2LOD policy or compliance monitoring functions, or 1LOD EC risk management.
- Experience working on regulatory audits (e.g., Section 166, Skilled Person, Monitorship).
- Experience with FC technology projects and understanding their impacts.
- Horizon scanning for regulatory changes and assessing their impacts.
- Collaborating with senior leaders on risk strategies and outcomes.
- Developing practical solutions and risk management frameworks.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite relationships.
- A strong sales record, including opening and expanding key accounts.
- Leading consulting practices, go-to-market strategies, and internal development.
Skillset
- Expertise in AML, CTF, sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud prevention.
- Knowledge of FC risk management frameworks and assessments.
- Advisory experience in operational areas like KYC, screening, transaction monitoring, SARs, etc.
- Developing quality frameworks and assurance processes.
- Extensive knowledge of UK, EU, and US legislation and regulation.
- Recognised financial crime prevention qualification (ICA or ACAMS).
- Proactive learning attitude and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Innovative thinking and positive attitude to change.
- Confidence in industry engagement and thought leadership.
Remuneration and benefits
Recognition and rewards include:
- Base salary from £105k, with up to 10% sales bonus, 10% personal bonus, and 10% company performance bonus.
