These offices provide all lines of insurance in partnership with specialized carriers. We are looking for a seasoned client manager with a proven track record. To thrive on our customer service team you will need to bring:

This is what we believe it takes to deliver a Fortune 1000 customer experience to our middle market clients. In this role you will:

  • Work with various insurance industry personnel to revise coverage, renew and create insurance policies and proposal packages.
  • In coordination with Producers, coordinate logistics of the overall Account Management process.
  • Issue and process various insurance documents, such as Certificates of Insurance, invoicing, renewals, etc.
  • Review customer contracts to assure compatibility of coverages with contract requirements.
  • Review policies for accuracy and follow-up of needed corrections.
  • Provide high level assistance to clients and customers to satisfactorily resolve business account issues.
  • Provide hands-on support to existing accounts and clients.
  • Promote account "rounding" identifying potential exposures of existing clients.
  • Input information and track activities in account management system software program.
  • Assist in designing workflows for the area, assists with and help design training and development for the commercial lines staff.

You have:

  • High school degree and minimum 10 years' account management/customer service experience in the Commercial Lines - Property and Casualty insurance industry.
  • Current Property and Casualty license in the state of Alabama.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience/skills with varied commercial software programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Fundamental mathematical skills and the ability to perform basic calculations for policy needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/customers and assignments as evidenced by a quantifiable track record in prior positions.

You may have:

  • Bachelor's or other educational degree(s).
  • CISR, CIC, CRM, CPCU or other professional designations.
  • Experience using varied agency management systems, including, but not limited to: Vertafore Agency Platform/AMS360/Work Smart/Image Right and others.
  • Prior experience in presentations and preparation of similar for both internal and external audiences.
