We are recruiting for two permanent CNC Turner Setter/Operator positions at a modern, well-equipped machine shop with a robust and well-planned order book. There is also plenty of opportunity for overtime!
What's on offer?
- Days shift: 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, paying up to £19.50 per hour (£38,532 annual salary).
- Lates shift: 2pm to midnight, Monday to Thursday (enjoy a 3-day weekend!) with a base rate of up to £19.50 per hour plus a shift allowance equating to a £48,165 annual salary.

About the company:
Based in Segensworth, near Fareham, this is a well-established global manufacturer specialising in complex advanced mechanical assemblies. The machining team, with nearly 30 professionals, works across lathes, milling machines, and sliding heads.
Your role as a CNC Turner will focus on setting and operating lathes with FANUC controls. Most of the work is repeatable, but with over 2,500 different parts to produce, there is plenty of variety. Occasional programming opportunities arise, too, as the team constantly seeks to improve manufacturing processes. You will typically work across two machines daily, setting up and keeping operations running smoothly. The team prides itself on a collaborative work ethic, supporting one another to maintain efficiency and quality.
What do you need?
- Experience working on lathes as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator.
- Programming experience (highly desirable).
