Job Description
- Access Control: Manage control points, including vehicle barriers and reception stations, and handle access passes
- Patrols: Conduct regular internal and external patrols, rain or shine, to ensure top-tier security
- Visitor Management: Register and escort contractors and visitors, issue temporary passes, and manage vehicle bookings
- CCTV Monitoring: Identify suspicious activities, respond to security breaches, and maintain a proactive presence
- Teamwork: Work closely with the security team, communicate effectively with your Supervisor, and respond swiftly to incidents
Qualifications
- SIA License and Full UK Driving License with own transport (site location-dependent)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to work solo and as a team
- Right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history (education/employment)
- Able to pass high-level security clearance
- Experience: 1-2 years in security, particularly in gatehouse operations, CCTV, and access control
- IT Literate
- Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance
