FP&A at Capital on Tap Do you have a passion for finance planning and analysis? Are you detail-oriented with a knack for diving into financial information to understand drivers of business performance and using this to produce accurate budgets and forecasts? We are seeking a dedicated FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team. What You’ll Be Doing Financial Result Analysis: Analyse revenue and expenses against forecast, and deliver timely financial analysis to support business decision-making at the highest level. Prepare Key Reporting: Design and produce monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met with accurate financial information. Run Expense Forecasting & Budgeting: Oversee the company’s expenses by partnering with teams across the business to deliver accurate forecasts and budgets, and carry out monthly reviews. Drive Process Automation and Improvement: Seek to improve existing processes by creating automated solutions and enhancing capabilities with SQL development. Exhibit confidence and initiative to challenge and improve current procedures. Support Projects: Contribute to key finance projects including budgeting and reporting enhancements. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate professionally and proactively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating an inquisitive nature. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Support additional financial tasks as needed. Be proficient with numbers and Excel. Be working towards an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification. Have at least 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or consulting. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Be capable of interpreting data and explaining insights clearly. Work well with different teams and build relationships. Be proactive and continuously seek smarter ways to work. Be open to using new tools and technologies to enhance processes. Nice to Have Skills SQL experience (not essential).
