Job Overview Are you experienced in Food or Agriculture engineering or maintenance? Looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic team and make a real impact. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures. Perform daily maintenance tasks, including greasing, inspection, and repair of processing equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Assist with breakdowns, repairs, and projects as needed. Identify training needs and inform management. Perform delegated tasks from Maintenance or Mill Managers. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. Create and manage inventory for spare parts. Request new tools or equipment when necessary. Sign for supplier deliveries on behalf of the company. Performance Criteria Maintain proper attire and appearance. Keep work areas and records tidy and organized. Complete documentation accurately and promptly. Minimize machinery failure through proper maintenance. Follow company procedures and maintain positive relationships. Be punctual and use time effectively. Maintain excellent attendance. Physical and Skill Requirements Basic computer and administrative skills. Experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance, predominantly mechanical. Good health to perform physical tasks. Appropriate driving license for company vehicles, with disclosure of any convictions. Benefits and Compensation Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per year. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. On-call pay includes a minimum of 3.5 hours, with additional pay for call-outs. Additional benefits: Pension, free parking, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, paid birthday leave after probation, and Westfield Health scheme.
