What You’ll Do
- Attend all trainings booked in for you – these are all of value and should be privileged.
- Access Level 5 through our internal promotions programme.
- DSL – Level 3 safeguard training for designated leads.
- Support the Registered Homes Manager in ensuring compliance with the company policy and procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations.
- Deputise/act up for the Registered Manager in their absence.
- Work with the manager and team towards the most positive outcomes for the young person.
- Plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day.
- Ensure the Placement and Care plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times.
- Show natural caring, patience, and emotional intelligence.
- Remain calm and grounded, even under pressure, with the ability to set clear, consistent boundaries.
- Be a supportive team player who leads with empathy and kindness; this role requires a Level 3 QCF qualification and several years of experience working as a senior within a children’s residential setting.
