A well-established, family-run construction services provider with over 50 years of industry experience. Specialising in large-scale groundworks projects for national housebuilders and civil infrastructure, the company is known for its high standards, safety focus, and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are expanding their skilled team.
Role Overview
They are looking for a Site Manager to join their Groundworks Division. Currently employing approximately 150 staff. The day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing Health & Safety and Quality across the site
- Supervising on-site personnel
- Managing daily site activities
- Collaborating with the Contracts Manager
- Programming and planning
- Conducting toolbox talks and H&S inspections
- Attending site meetings
- Recording potential changes and updating Project Managers / Quantity Surveyors
- Managing permits and more
Candidate Requirements
- Background in Residential Groundworks and Civil Engineering
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Relevant CSCS Card (ideally Gold or Black)
- Full clean driving license (preferred)
