We’re currently recruiting experienced Fire Stoppers for long-term work on social housing properties across London and Essex. You’ll be working for a well-established building maintenance and fire compliance contractor, delivering high-quality fire protection works in occupied and void properties.

What’s on Offer?

  • Pay: £170 – £220 per day (depending on experience & qualifications)
  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Locations: Sites across London and Essex
  • Ongoing work with consistent weekly schedule
  • Work with a reputable contractor in the social housing sector

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in fire stopping (especially in social housing or similar residential settings)
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Your own tools and transport
  • Knowledge of passive fire protection standards and working safely on site
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • FIRAS, BM Trada, or similar third-party certification
  • NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
  • ASFP Level 2/3 training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install fire stopping systems including fire batts, sealants, intumescent collars, wraps, and compounds
  • Carry out works in risers, service penetrations, and void areas
  • Ensure installations are fully compliant with building and fire safety regulations
  • Accurately record work (photo evidence & logs) for sign-off and certification
