DBT Specialist Practitioner / Private Mental Health Provider

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a top national mental healthcare provider to source a DBT Specialist Practitioner to join the team in Wellington, Somerset. You will be working at a purpose built 101 bed hospital for men and women with mental health needs. You will be playing a key part in supporting the psychology department in developing and delivering the hospital strategy on treating Personality Disorder, contributing to the operational and clinical effectiveness of nursing and allied professional teams. As a DBT Specialist Practitioner, you will be conducting weekly individual therapy sessions with service users, preparing and delivering group work, creating and updating a DBT focused Psychological Formulation for each service user, identifying and evaluating potential improvements in the service and supporting implantation of planned improvements. As a DBT Specialist Practitioner, you will be: * Supporting patients in creating and updating their Behavioural Incentive Pathway. * Carrying out coaching and DBT awareness enhancement on the DBT pathway. * Providing written details of the client’s progress within DBT (CPA reports and care notes). * Attending ICR and CPA meetings and feedback progress for each of your clients.
