About the role
Our mission is simple, we develop individual excellence, embrace opportunities and build communities with the Gospel values at the heart. The post will be focused on supporting secondary aged students with autism. Working with HFCMAT we wish to appoint a passionate, dedicated and determined SEND teacher who will contribute to our inclusive centre of excellence. The role will involve working with and delivering a range of subjects and you will be supported by a team of TAs and College leaders.
We need someone who:
- Has a passion for helping pupils with great challenges, but recognises that when students are presented with suitable support, they can thrive.
- Has a 'can do' attitude and is keen to create hands-on learning experiences, willing to think in creative ways that help engage learners.
- Has a passion to bring learning to life for students with Education Health Care Plans.
You will need to be resilient and ready for the unique challenges this role will present. However, you can be assured that your work will transform lives.
We would very much welcome applications or enquiries from candidates with a range of experience, including primary and SEND specialist settings. Through HFCMAT we can offer a range of CPD opportunities to enhance the knowledge and skills of all staff within the resourced provision.
We are looking for someone who shares our mission and will ensure our vision of Work Together Succeed Together is lived out every day. Your attitude is the key driver, rather than your background and formal qualifications. If you do not have experience of working in specialist settings, please note that this is not a disadvantage.
