Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Product Manager to work with a key client. Please note: this role falls INSIDE IR35 and will be hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week in Gaydon.
Description: Product Manager, Communications role is part of the Product Management Team responsible for defining policy, process, strategy, lifecycle, and roadmap for communication-related apps. Work within a large, complex customer environment across multiple sites using various latest technologies with demanding business requirements.
The Role:
- Define policy and process for communication-related apps.
- Maintain product lifecycle strategy for hardware and software products related to mobile devices, MS Teams, MS Intune, MTR, AV equipment, and Session Border Controllers (SBC).
- Test new features and assess their suitability for the customer environment.
- Manage application upgrades, scope new versions, request packaging, communicate, and roll out updates.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create communication plans and frameworks for new product launches within productivity and collaboration tools.
- Manage subscriptions for MS Teams and MS Intune.
- Provide recommendations on product features, upgrades, architecture, and roadmaps for communication-related products and apps.
- Handle product-related escalations and coordinate with the business and vendors for resolution.
- Liaise with third-party vendors like Microsoft, Vodafone, Apple, Poly for resolving product issues, subscription renewals, evaluations, and roadmap discussions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including business units, product owners, purchasing, finance, and vendors.
- Perform operational service reviews for third-party vendors.
Your Profile:
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven experience with MS Teams and MS Intune.
- Understanding of MTR devices and AV equipment.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Apple Mac, and networking concepts.
- Experience in project management and collaboration.
- Strong analytical and visualization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to deliver value through right assessment and product recommendations.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- ITIL Foundation certification, preferably in Incident/Problem Management.
- 6-8 years of experience in large, complex IT environments.
- Ability to understand business needs from a user perspective.
- Proactive ownership of issues and resolution.
- Customer-oriented decision making and exceptional customer service stories.
- Focus on service improvements and delivering value.
- Ability to identify and document risks and issues.
