Applications are invited for the post of Postgraduate Office Admissions Administrator who will be based in the Postgraduate Studies Office at the Department of Engineering\’s site in Trumpington Street. The Postgraduate Studies Office offers a complete \”cradle to grave\” service to all postgraduate students registered in the Engineering Department as well as supporting the Degree Committee for the Faculty of Engineering. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the admissions processes and systems within the Department in order to provide an efficient admissions experience for prospective students. You may also be expected to provide financial services for the department\’s Postgraduate Studies Office and for student awards and scholarships. Reporting to the Postgraduate Office Manager, you will be part of a team of five administrators. The successful candidate will be educated to at least A-level standard and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including the ability to work with databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with strong organisational skills are essential requirements for this role. Previous experience of academic admissions processes and experience of CAMSIS and PANEL would be desirable. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
