You’ll be responsible for:

  • Information Delivery – H&S files
  • Virtual Part C - Attention to detail and quality assessment is required, to ensure all the relevant information is in the correct place, numbered in accordance with requirements.
  • Making sure the original documents are not formatted in any way to not lose any essential information required to maintain the building or equipment.
  • Ensuring all commissioning and testing certificates, manufacturers literature has been received and correctly labelled, all asset codes for each specific part in the part c have been included, making sure project titles, locations, project numbers, authors, contractors’ information has been completed and drawings appropriately referenced, all in accordance with the airport standards.
  • Ensuring all information required has been inserted and the relevant Health & Safety file sections are completed for commissioning and testing certificates, manufacturers literature, asset codes, project titles, locations and project numbers.
  • Input into the project Part A and Part B - As above but related to Mace specific documentation. Liaise with design teams to establish residual risk elements for inclusion within the Part B.
  • Record drawings - The collation of all drawings generated by the project. Using the Handover deliverables schedule as the fundamental guideline to ensure that all the required drawings have been delivered. Facilitate the as built red line mark-up process. Ensure that all drawings have the correct format/status and that the numbering system and drawing referencing is in accordance to the HAL requirements. All model files & dwg drawings need to be delivered along with CAD checking reports. The content of the drawings needs assessing for compliance against the HAL standards along with the title block to ensure that the specific project information has been included correctly.
  • Where applicable, complete self-assessment checks - this is used as the fundamental guideline to ensure every piece of information and the content in the Health & Safety file is 100% accurate prior to submission for review. All the manufacturer's literature as well as testing & commissioning documents, drawings and model files used in the build are included and reference correctly and accurately.
  • All relevant documentation as determined by our handover strategy plans and the Bringing into Use handover forms.
  • Asset Classification & Integration
  • All assets to be identified and registered within the airport system, Maxinet – Check information is received from the suppliers to compile the asset coded maintenance list, which is loaded to the client system, Maxinet. To include, the installation dates, warranty dates, parts numbers, precise locations, etc are referenced on this document.
  • Parts line sheets – Identification of equipment spare part requirements and associated suppliers. This allows future equipment to be ordered from the original supplier.
  • Where applicable, provide Maintenance Work plans – For the maintenance of equipment all existing work plans are checked to see if these are still applicable and if not, a new work plans is written up for safe methodology of future maintenance. This is to be agreed with the HAL integration teams on each project.

You’ll need to have:

  • Educated to City and Guilds / HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Documentum conversant.
  • Aconex document control system conversant.
  • 5 years project experience delivering to airport requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Employer’s Requirements for information Delivery.
  • Meets the requirements of the Aviation Handover Manager competency assessment.
  • Understanding of the principles of Document Control, Information Management and the airport standards for Information Delivery.
  • Understanding the key project controls associated with information delivery.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Quality control and assurance management.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Understanding of the client Handover, Testing & Commissioning requirements.
  • Understanding of the client software systems.
  • Understanding of the Asset Technical data requirements.
  • Understanding of the Bringing into Use processes.
  • Strong document control skills, in particular, Conject & Documents.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, with excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Results driven individual.
  • Meets deadlines.

You’ll also have:

  • Degree educated.
  • Member of the Institute of Asset Management.
  • AutoCAD trained.
