Your role in the team The Digital Product Manager owns the design, development, and execution of new product and service offerings and capabilities. The role involves supporting business development, setting and achieving growth goals for the portfolio, and leading a team of product managers within their digital product area. The manager creates and manages the strategic product vision, discovery, and roadmaps to maximize customer and enterprise value. Multiple Digital Product Manager roles are available at different levels. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate the vision and strategy for digital products. Backlog Management: Decompose complex problems into manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the product team. Discovery & Testing: Engage in activities to validate assumptions and product direction quickly. Customer Voice: Invest time with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits. Metrics and Success: Define and monitor metrics to measure success and inform strategy. User Stories: Author, test, and accept stories. Product Portfolio: Contribute to creating the strategy for digital products in our portfolio. Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch digital products. Roadmap Maintenance: Create and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs. Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor product performance metrics using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions. Legal Eligibility: All candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available. Experience: Minimum 3+ years as a Digital Product Manager (Senior), 4+ years (Lead), or 5+ years (Expert). Methodologies: Experience with Agile and product management tools. Understanding: Development processes, human-centered design, UX/UI, and digital marketing. Communication: Effectively communicate complex product concepts to cross-functional teams. Data-Driven: Apply data insights to influence product decisions. Agile Practice: Break down initiatives into iterative deliverables following Agile practices. Additional Responsibilities for Lead and Expert Roles Lead global teams for 2+ years and inspire cross-functional collaboration. Influence product management peers and operate independently on strategy and roadmap. Mentor and coach early-in-career product managers across the organization. Experience in End User, Network, Compute, or PaaS is preferred. Experience in networking, identity management, infrastructure as code, automation, analytics, or cloud solutions. Experience in the insurance industry or enterprise-level software solutions.
