The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Assign customer sales to transport, achieving OTIF in the most cost effective and efficient approach. Work to maximise vehicle utilisation and stock movement between all four sites. Maintain haulier and customer relationships, dealing with any issues and resolving them for the best possible outcome for the customer. Create reports and delivery schedules for customers and different departments. Work with the Commercial teams striving to ensure that all special delivery requests are met for all customers. Liaise and communicate with the Commercial team to identify issues that may affect the agreed delivery time, with focus on the customer having a positive experience. Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure that accurate order information is obtained before a delivery is scheduled. Maintain files and records and provide quick accurate information when required.
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above in English and Maths
- GCSE or equivalent in IT
- Minimum two years within transport and supply chain
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel
- Experience using planning systems or ERP
