As a Stores Operative, you will be a vital part of the Insite team, contributing to its success. Ideally, you will have some background in manufacturing, MRO, PPE, or a trade counter environment; however, full training will be provided, so don't let this stop you from applying! We are busier than ever, helping to keep the wheels of industry turning, and we have an exciting opportunity to join our team. We support our customers by ensuring they have all the parts, spares, and tooling needed to operate, as well as working hard to secure the best deals with suppliers.
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic person to support the Insite Manager in developing the business by capitalising on profitable sales opportunities, maintaining good customer care practices, and exceeding customer expectations whenever possible.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing (Stock/Non-Stock) items based on customer requirements.
- Supporting consistent delivery of high levels of customer service.
- Achieving unit cost reduction savings compared to previous suppliers and OEMs.
- Assisting team members with enquiries and issues.
- Organising site visits with preferred supply partners to identify and assist with value-added activities.
- Proactively seeking sales opportunities across all departments, including site leasing.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Self-driven and motivated to complete each task successfully.
- Experience in a similar role with transferable skills.
