We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our client’s team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, legal, and clinically accurate medication supply while upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate and legal supply of dispensed medication in line with GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations.
  • Oversee the final accuracy check on all prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy SOPs.
  • Maintain adherence to Responsible Pharmacist regulations and ensure the competence of the dispensing team, providing necessary training and leadership.
  • Manage compliance with the Clinical Governance framework, including risk management, clinical audit programs, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Log, analyze, and address errors and near misses, implementing preventive measures.
  • Stay up to date with CPD and current pharmacy practices.
  • Ensure prescriptions are dispensed within required timescales and maintain proper temperature control for all medications.
  • Provide informed responses to drug-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complete all pharmacovigilance activities within the required timelines.

Skills & Experience:

  • Registered Pharmacist with up-to-date CPD compliance.
  • GPhC Registered.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and lead a team effectively.
  • Clear patient focus with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
