We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our client’s team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, legal, and clinically accurate medication supply while upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate and legal supply of dispensed medication in line with GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations.
- Oversee the final accuracy check on all prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy SOPs.
- Maintain adherence to Responsible Pharmacist regulations and ensure the competence of the dispensing team, providing necessary training and leadership.
- Manage compliance with the Clinical Governance framework, including risk management, clinical audit programs, and patient safety initiatives.
- Log, analyze, and address errors and near misses, implementing preventive measures.
- Stay up to date with CPD and current pharmacy practices.
- Ensure prescriptions are dispensed within required timescales and maintain proper temperature control for all medications.
- Provide informed responses to drug-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete all pharmacovigilance activities within the required timelines.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered Pharmacist with up-to-date CPD compliance.
- GPhC Registered.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and lead a team effectively.
- Clear patient focus with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
