Chartsign is excited to present an opportunity for a Contract Materials Research Engineer with our esteemed client. This fixed-term position is available until March 2026, offering a competitive rate of £26.58 per hour (Umbrella) and is Inside IR35. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research on the structures and chemical properties of diverse materials through experiments and computer modelling. Develop methods to improve material strength, combine materials, or create new materials with unique properties. Test materials against specifications for mechanical strength, ductility, and resistance to environmental factors such as abrasion and corrosion. Ensure that all products meet established quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive engineering experience, showcasing their advanced knowledge through practical applications.
