Our national FMCG client is looking to add a Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Manager to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, administer and enforce all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies, processes and standards.
- Responsible for the maintenance of Safety, Health, Quality and quality systems as documented on the Process Library.
- Ensure that all requirements of the Health, Safety & Environment policies and standards are met by the depot.
- Monitor standards & audit requirements to ensure compliance and highlight areas of non-compliance to Senior Depot Management.
- Deliver and co-ordinate all Safety, Health, Environment and Standards compliance related events/induction.
Requirements:
- A sound working knowledge of Company processes and standards.
- Strong knowledge in Health & Safety, Environmental management, and internal and external auditing.
- Effective communicator with the ability to persuade and influence senior management.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations and training courses.
- Customer driven, collaborative and hands-on approach.
- Experience of a fast-moving distribution environment.
- Cost management and ability to work within tight budgetary controls.
- NEBOSH – National General Certificate or equivalent.
Working Hours: 08:00hrs – 16:00hrs. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
