We are seeking an exceptional Head of Creative and Design to lead our creative vision across two distinctive beauty brands. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic creative direction with hands-on team management, requiring someone who can balance high-level brand stewardship with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Direction & Brand Leadership
- Develop and maintain strong brand identity and creative direction across both brands
- Direct photoshoots and creative campaigns, with photography skills an advantage
- Establish and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
- Collaborate closely with founders on creative storytelling and brand vision
- Oversee creative output across all channels including POS, website, packaging, and advertising
- Team Management & Operations
- Lead and inspire a team of 4 creative professionals including Senior Designer and Mid-Weight Designers
- Implement effective traffic management systems to prioritise and delegate workload
- Manage resource allocation across multiple brand requirements and competing priorities
- Foster a collaborative environment that drives creative excellence
- Utilise project management tools to ensure efficient workflow and delivery
- Strategic Oversight
- Balance creative ambition with commercial objectives
- Work closely with founders and senior stakeholders on strategic creative decisions
- Ensure creative output aligns with brand positioning in the competitive beauty landscape
- Drive innovation while maintaining brand integrity across both portfolios
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven track record in senior creative leadership roles with team management experience
- Demonstrable experience in traffic management and resource allocation
- Background working in founder-led environments with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing creative output across multiple brands or product lines
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative direction and brand development
Preferred Background
- Beauty or luxury skincare industry experience highly desirable
- In-house brand experience preferred
- Familiarity with competitive beauty landscape
- Experience directing photoshoots and creative campaigns
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Figma for design collaboration
- Project management tools experience (Asana or similar)
- Understanding of packaging design and artwork production
