That’s why we are seeking like-minded Caregivers to join our St KildaCare Home located in Cambridge. This is a casual role, hence, there are no guaranteed weekly hours. It will be as per the requirement at the care home. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable.
As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person-first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.
Where You Will Make an Impact
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living, whilst treating residents with respect and dignity.
- Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans.
- Maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
- Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities.
- Contribute to the development of a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.
What About You
- An NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 year of experience within aged care.
- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the lives of the elderly.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
