What Will You Be Doing?
Reporting to the Finance Director, this engaging position will be responsible for:
- Month-end close, journal entries, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing rolling three-month forecasts, setting annual budgets, and conducting monthly reviews with cost centre owners to ensure financial alignment.
- Overseeing margin analysis, revenue and cost tracking, cash flow, and project reporting.
- Delivering utilisation reporting across delivery, support, and engineering teams to monitor KPIs and support informed decision-making.
Core essential skills will include:
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (ideally SAP).
- Ownership of the relationship with external auditors to ensure a smooth path to finalised financial statements.
- Proven experience managing VAT submissions and returns.
- Hands-on background in a project accounting environment.
- Solid track record in financial control, financial planning, and finance business partnering.
