An opportunity for 4 x Grinders with valuable knowledge of grinding, shot blasting, fettling, and applications to work on a prestigious project for a client in South Yorkshire. The client is an established organization with more than 60 years of engineering experience in their industry. They have delivered a wide range of high-profile projects across the UK and have recently been awarded another multi-million-pound project. Our client is a leading company in their field of expertise.

Key Objectives & Duties of the role of Grinder:

  • This role involves working as part of a team, grinding, shot blasting, and fettling metal parts to meet customer specifications.
  • Working according to specific production schedules.
  • Completing all administrative procedures related to the paint area.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Adhering to COSHH regulations.
  • Maintaining own equipment.

Knowledge & skills required for the role of Grinder:

  • Previous or current experience as a Grinder, Shot Blaster, or Fettler.
  • Use of power and hand-held tools.
  • Training in lifting equipment – Overhead crane / FLT.

The Offer for the role of Grinder:

PAYE rate of pay up to Β£13.68 per hour, with an increase to Β£15 per hour.
