THE ROLE: Located aside our Leisure Club with amazing ground floor views across the front lawn to the Loch, our Tavern Bar is the perfect place to relax with friends and family for an informal drink or classic pub food at any time of the day. Guests can watch as the action of the best sporting events unfold on our big screens, whilst enjoying a range of draught and bottled beers and great coffee. You will be responsible for leading your team in the delivery of prompt, relaxed, and professional 5* service within the resorts largest bar which can accommodate 155 guests inside and 60 on the outside terrace.
- Hosting your day-to-day operation, being present and accessible to guests and your team
- Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of your bar
- Managing consistent delivery of exceptional guest service standards
- Driving first class knowledge of all products and resort facilities through your team
- Overseeing requisitions, safe secure storage of stock and mise en place
- Kitchen liaison and overseeing table service of food and beverage
- Overseeing payments, end of day reports and banking, and service debriefs
- Effective communication through daily shift briefings, handovers, monthly meetings and the use of all our systems
- Effective handling, resolve and operational follow up of guest feedback
- Attendance at Weekly operational/business sheet meetings and pre event meetings
- Arranging resources in line with operational demand and budgets
- Organising rotas and work plans, holiday entitlements and requests
- Recruitment, induction, and ongoing training and progression of your team
- Providing feedback and managing performance through probationary reviews, 1:1s and appraisals.
- Meeting all legal requirements to keep guests and employees safe, and the business compliant with statutory obligations

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- Current or recent experience of working within F&B management in a quality environment, ideally a 5* hotel
- Creative mixologist with confidence and flair
- Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Personal Licence
- Competence in IT, with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology
