What Is the Opportunity? We are hiring an Associate Claims Operations Professional in Redhill, London, Manchester, or Dublin. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in insurance, with strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel. You will support our claims function by harvesting data, streamlining processes, and handling administrative tasks like setting up new claims. Join a collaborative team and gain exposure to the claims process and broader insurance industry. Travelers Europe offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, typically three days in the office and two days remote, subject to change at company discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks, handle partial claims, approve invoices, resolve minor disputes, and coordinate vendor activities.
- Assist with management information and analytics, financial control, assessment, and validation.
- Support Claims teams across multiple locations to ensure operational resilience.
- Meet or exceed service expectations for internal and external customers.
- Develop effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients to achieve organizational goals.
- Communicate actions clearly with managers and colleagues, considering impacts across disciplines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Act ethically, complete necessary compliance training, and adhere to regulatory requirements, maintaining proper records of all transactions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a general insurance claims or support role is preferred.
- Knowledge of I90, Openbox, and Lloyds claims systems is advantageous.
- Experience with data entry processes is a plus.
- Basic customer relationship skills.
- Intermediate communication skills in writing and speaking.
- Willingness to meet regional minimum competency requirements (Ireland: Insurance Institute of Ireland; UK: CII studies).
Minimum Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent educational standard or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
