The Client
Interaction Technical has partnered with a growing, market-leading dealer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in Gloucestershire to support the expansion of their engineering team. Due to business growth, our client is seeking an electromechanical field engineer in the Cirencester area to maintain, repair, and service agricultural machinery.
The Package
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours and at 2x over 48 hours
- Plenty of overtime available throughout the year (average 15-20 hours per week)

- Travel time during call outs and expenses from home to/from site covered

The Duties
- Diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs on agricultural machinery (tractors, combiners, balers, etc.)
- Travel to customer sites to ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to high standards
- Perform diagnostics on mechanical and electrical faults in agricultural and horticultural machinery
- Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutions
- Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and conduct mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
- Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and propose solutions
The Requirements
- Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities (essential)
- Experience in the agricultural industry is advantageous
- Fault finding, repair, and service experience in electrical and mechanical systems (advantageous)
- Experience with engines and batteries (advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK driver’s license
