Dimensions is seeking Female Support Workers in Bracknell. Supporting 2 ladies and 2 gents, aged 30’s-60’s who have learning disabilities, Support Workers will find themselves part of a young at heart, outgoing household. The people we support would love us to list everything they do here but we don’t have the space! To give you an idea, some of the things you may get involved with include:

  • Going bowling
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Shopping at The Range, Charity Shops and Poundland
  • Meals out at The Running Horse, Morrisons Café & Greggs (to name a few)
  • Being an active part of the local learning disabilities community – there’s always a birthday party or function to be at!
  • Trips to the cinema or bowling
  • Going dancing at local discos

The people we support are happy to meet. Support Workers have not done this type of role before and Dimensions provide all colleagues with full training. They are also happy to meet people looking for full or part-time work. Shift patterns at this home are varied but include a mixture of mornings, evenings and weekends; we also need Support Workers to be able to work sleep-in shifts. Dimensions can offer a pay rate of £12.65 per hour. (Sleep-in shifts are paid at £50). Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and personal care.
