Cyber Security Consultant (CHECK Team Member – Infrastructure or Application)
Location: Fully Remote (UK-wide)

We are exclusively partnering with a leading UK cyber security consultancy to expand their Offensive Security team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled CHECK Team Member (CTM) to contribute to high-impact penetration testing projects and develop their expertise in offensive security. If you\’re passionate about cyber security and ready to advance your career, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality security assessments (infrastructure or application) aligned with industry standards and client requirements.
- Produce detailed, actionable reports with clear recommendations.
- Provide expert technical insight and cyber security advice to internal teams and clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members to foster growth and collaboration.
- Manage assessment projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout assessment engagements.
Requirements:
- Valid CTM certification is essential. This can be either a Cyber Scheme CSTM or a CREST CRT in Infrastructure or Application.
- Minimum 12 months of focused CHECK penetration testing experience.
- Strong understanding of cyber security methodologies, tools, and concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must hold or be eligible for UK security clearance (minimum 5 years of UK residency).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Additional certifications (CREST, Cyber Scheme, OSCP, RTO, Security+, Cyber Essentials).
- Full UK driving license (for occasional client travel).
