Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering career? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Highways Engineer / Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. This role plays a vital part in supporting construction and maintenance projects within our highways network.

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Highways Engineer / Surveyor, your work will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, and to the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation
• Surveying and levelling of construction sites
• Accurately setting out project locations using plans, drawings, and BIM data
• Mapping structural boundaries and contributing to buildability reviews
• Communicating regularly with project teams and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in site surveying and highway construction
• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Experience using Leica Total Stations (desirable)
• Operational health and safety experience or qualifications (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
