Part-Time Brand Insight Analyst Role at NFU Mutual. Brand new, part-time role (20 hours per week) offering flexibility and the chance to shape our approach to brand insights. Play a pivotal role in understanding brand performance and competitor activity at a leading UK insurer. Hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% from our Head Office in Stratford upon Avon. Salary up to £38,000 (FTE) + up to 10% annual bonus.

About the role: At NFU Mutual, understanding how our brand is performing and how customers perceive us has never been more important. As the way we track our brand evolves, we’re looking for someone to play a key part in uncovering the insights that drive our strategy. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying the flexibility to fit around your life. Through our new external partnership, we now have a powerful data dashboard at our fingertips, but it’s what we do with this data that truly matters. That’s where you come in. You’ll be at the heart of our brand tracking efforts, working with this new platform to analyse data on brand awareness, consideration, and performance. It’ll be your role to interpret these insights, identify trends, and share findings that will shape our brand strategy and inform marketing decisions.

In addition to tracking our own brand performance, you’ll also become our in-house expert on competitor activity, keeping us informed about trends, news stories, and media campaigns across the industry. You’ll work closely with teams across Marketing and Strategy, providing actionable recommendations that help us stay ahead of the curve and meet our ambitious growth goals. From ad hoc research projects to sector-specific customer surveys, this is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll also collaborate with external research partners and present your findings in a way that’s clear, engaging, and meaningful to a diverse range of stakeholders. If you’re excited about using data and insights to drive decision-making, this role gives you the opportunity to make a real difference to NFU Mutual’s brand and overall business success.

About you: You’re a market research professional who’s a natural when it comes to digging into data, spotting trends, and telling the story behind the numbers. Curious and analytical, you thrive on turning insights into meaningful actions. You’ll bring:

  • Market research experience, either from a client or agency side.
  • Proven ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations that inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of market research methodologies—both qualitative and quantitative approaches—and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Data analysis/insights expertise with the ability to identify trends and valuable insights to influence business strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, tailoring insights to different audiences in a clear and engaging way.
  • Collaborative and inquisitive mindset, working effectively across teams and with external suppliers to deliver impactful outcomes.

If you hold a qualification in market research, such as MRS, that would be advantageous, however it’s not essential for this role - we’d still love to hear from you if you don’t.

At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique. We celebrate the creativity and innovation that comes from diverse perspectives and experiences and share a common vision of doing the right thing for our customers and employees. We recognise that some candidates may experience barriers during the recruitment process. So, we encourage candidates to discuss any adjustments or accommodations they need to be the best they can be throughout our recruitment process. We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, a Race at Work and Women in Finance Charter signatory and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, disability, neurodiversity, gender, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.

Benefits and Rewards: When you join our team, you can expect a supportive culture and an attractive range of rewards and benefits including:

  • Salary up to £38,000 (full time equivalent)
  • Annual bonus (up to 10% of salary)
