We are working with a long-established, forward-thinking rural property consultancy and estate management firm seeking a Land Agent to join their experienced and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and capable individual who wants to play a hands-on role in managing diverse rural estates, encompassing residential, commercial, and agricultural assets.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Directors to support the strategic and day-to-day management of varied estates. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering Estate Management plans in collaboration with the estate principals
  • Identifying income growth and capital opportunities
  • Managing a range of tenancies (agricultural, commercial, residential)
  • Ensuring compliance with property legislation, H&S, and employment regulations
  • Preparing and implementing annual estate budgets
  • Conducting in-house valuations and overseeing planning and construction programmes
  • Coordinating repairs, maintenance, estate staff, and contractors
  • Supporting debtor management and engaging with external stakeholders including developers and local authorities

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Member of the RICS (essential)
  • Experienced in estate management and business development
  • A confident communicator and skilled negotiator
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Equipped with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
