We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in OSS for fixed and mobile converged networks. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing operational needs, and supporting the design and delivery of OSS solutions that optimize network operations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to OSS in converged network environments (mobile + fixed-line).
- Work with network, IT, and operations teams to understand existing OSS processes and identify gaps or optimization opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for OSS solutions (inventory, provisioning, fault management, performance monitoring, etc.).
- Support the design and implementation of service fulfillment and assurance processes across hybrid networks (e.g., 5G, FTTH, DSL).
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment of solution design with business goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and validate requirements with diverse stakeholders.
- Assist in vendor evaluations, UAT, training, and change management activities during OSS deployment or transformation projects.
- Ensure documentation complies with industry standards such as TM Forum (eTOM, SID, TAM).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in telecom OSS environments.
- Good understanding of network technologies (5G, LTE, GPON, xDSL, VoIP, IMS) and how they are managed operationally.
- Familiarity with OSS domains including service fulfillment, service assurance, and inventory management.
- Experience working with OSS platforms (e.g., Netcracker, Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN tools, and requirement management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open APIs).
- Experience with OSS transformation programs (e.g., consolidation, cloud migration, automation).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps environments.
