Due to an increased workload over the weekends, we now have this requirement. Our expert physiotherapists are here to rehabilitate patients to optimal functional recovery following surgery. The hospital is well-placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programs.

As a Physiotherapist, you will:

  • See a wide range of pre- and post-surgery patients undertaking orthopaedic or gynaecology surgery
  • Cover inpatient caseload
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS, and consultants to optimise patient health and recovery
  • Adhere to Nuffield Health's values and beliefs, encouraging behaviour that is enterprising, passionate, independent, and caring
  • Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive to patient needs
  • Monitor the standard of treatment provided regularly
  • Comply with all professional, clinical, and governance standards, participating in clinical audits and quality assurance processes

What are we looking for in our Physiotherapists?

  • A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the HCPC
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and training
  • Effective communication skills to engage with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent manual therapy skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload efficiently
  • Previous experience treating post-op orthopaedic patients
