Job Title : SAP Business One Consultant Location : North West Contract Type : Permanent Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Business One Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing, configuring, and optimising SAP Business One solutions for our clients, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and delivering measurable results. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, with the ability to liaise with both technical teams and end-users effectively. Key Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities : Analyse client business processes and requirements to design and recommend effective SAP Business One solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional requirements. Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and recommend best practices to optimise workflows. Deliver end-user training, support, and documentation to ensure adoption and efficient use of the system. Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Technical Responsibilities : Install, configure, and maintain SAP Business One systems, including add-ons and customisations. Develop and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using SQL, Crystal Reports, or other tools. Create and modify queries, forms, and workflows to meet business requirements. Manage and troubleshoot database integrations with third-party applications or APIs. Perform upgrades, patches, and system migrations to ensure optimal performance and security. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement custom solutions, if necessary. Required Skills & Experience Functional Skills : Strong knowledge of SAP Business One core modules and processes. Experience with business process analysis and designing SAP Business One solutions. Familiarity with financial accounting principles and supply chain management workflows. Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements effectively. Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with SAP Business One installation, configuration, and administration. Proficiency in SQL queries, database management (e.g., SQL Server), and Crystal Reports. Knowledge of SAP B1 Studio, SDK, and add-on development. Experience integrating SAP Business One with third-party applications using APIs or middleware. Understanding of server environments, backups, and troubleshooting performance issues. General Requirements Minimum of [3-5+] years of experience as an SAP Business One Consultant or similar role. SAP Business One Certification is highly desirable. Proven track record of successful implementations, migrations, and customisations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements. Preferred Skills Experience with specific verticals (e.g., manufacturing, retail, distribution).
