Irby and Neston Vets are first opinion small animal practices based in Wirral and Cheshire West, with a passion and dedication to providing the highest quality of care. Both practices are close to the M53 and M56 motorways, with great fast links to Liverpool, Chester and North Wales.

If you are available for an immediate start, this role will be perfect for you as we are searching for an all rounder for our maternity cover which could begin as early as July. Neston is a lovely area on a peninsula, with a well-equipped practice. Both sites are RCVS Small Animal GP accredited, and very well-equipped with flexible and video endoscopy, ultrasonography and digital radiography along with dedicated theatres and both cat and dog wards.

We are looking for a Senior Small Animal Vet to join our wonderful practice team consisting of 4 vets and supported by a team of nurses, PCAs and receptionists, as well as by our Practice Director. CPD, certificates and career progression are actively encouraged.

We offer 15-minute consultations with the opportunity to extend this for complex cases. This is a 12-month FTC covering maternity, starting on 4th August. It is a part-time role for 29.75 hours across 3 or 4 days and 1 in 4 Saturdays. There is flexibility in regards to hours, so please do get in touch to discuss further.
