We specialise in all areas of architectural design with particular experience in large scale, complex science and research, education and health care projects. Our project locations span the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland and occasionally on sites in mainland Europe. We have a staff of nearly 60 working as an integrated unit across all office locations. Job overview The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, BIM-compliant models, and construction documentation, working closely with project architects and consultants across RIBA Stages 3β5. A deep understanding of UK Building Regulations and BIM Level 2 workflows is essential. Key Responsibilities Create accurate, coordinated Revit models and technical drawings compliant with BIM Level 2 standards. Prepare and develop detailed construction drawings, schedules, and specifications. Coordinate with architects, structural/mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure model/data accuracy. Maintain BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure model compliance with project requirements. Prepare technical submissions for planning and building control approvals. Contribute to design development and RFI responses during the construction phase. Stay current with relevant UK legislation, codes, and sustainability standards. Key Skills and Qualifications HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology or related field. You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in architectural practice and be qualified with a CIAT or equivalent accreditation. Proficient in Autodesk Revit (BIM Level 2), AutoCAD Solid understanding of BIM Level 2 standards. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing. Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills. Strong organisational and communication abilities. Ability to manage workload across multiple projects with minimal supervision.
