At Exeter Trade Aluminium, we manufacture a variety of slim line aluminium windows, bi-folding doors, sliding doors, rooflights, and verandas for both domestic and commercial installations. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Fabricator role located in Exeter. The Fabricator will be responsible for the assembly and production of aluminium windows, doors, rooflights, and verandas. Daily tasks include:
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
- Assembling frames
- Using hand and power tools
- Maintaining equipment
- Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
- Assisting in stock management
- Maintaining an organized work environment
Qualifications
- Experience with hand and power tools, and metal fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and assembly
- Understanding of safety procedures and quality control
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in aluminium fabrication or the glazing industry is a plus
- Relevant vocational training or certifications in metal fabrication or a related field
