Key Responsibilities

As a Collection Driver at First Mile, your primary duties will include:

– Starting your shift from one of our newly opened depot in Hoxton, East London
– Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route.
– Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes.
– Collecting refuse bags from clients.
– Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.

Shift Pattern

Night Shifts:

– Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts) with a weekend day on alternate weeks. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm

Morning Shifts:

-Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts). Morningshifts start between 5am-8am.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

– A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
– A clean UK driving license.
– Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
– The right to work in the UK.
– Proficient English language skills.
