We are seeking an experienced Assistant Asphalt Plant Supervisor at our Liverpool Plant. The role involves supporting the plant supervisor in managing the safe and efficient operation of the plant, overseeing production, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with other departments. An understanding of the critical timing of processes and downstream activities is beneficial.

Shift patterns may vary depending on workload, customer needs, and business demands. Flexible, rotating, or staggered shifts may be implemented to ensure coverage, meet deadlines, and maintain high service levels, while also considering employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and demonstrate leadership in health and safety practices.
• Perform administrative duties such as writing reports, updating records, procurement, and budget management.
• Plan and organize work efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Bring industry experience, with a focus on safety and interpersonal skills, ideally within asphalt plant operations.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and hands-on, with the ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions. Strong negotiation skills and collaboration with colleagues are essential. Experience in plant operations within a similar environment is preferred.
