Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday), 5pm finish Friday

We are looking for a Graduate Technician to support testing activities across a range of medical and drug delivery devices for our client based a few miles south of Cambridge. You will work under supervision as part of a project team, conducting hands-on testing in lab environments. You should be available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting hands-on mechanical and functional tests (e.g., stress testing, measurements, visual inspections)
  • Support R&D, design verification and post-market investigations
  • Handle test samples, including hazardous materials
  • Follow health & safety protocols, test methods and quality procedures
  • Accurately document test data and maintain high-quality standards

Requirements

Essential:

  • Laboratory testing experience
  • Familiarity with health & safety standards
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience e.g. Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
  • Ability to generate and document test results
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Team-oriented, organized, adaptable and deadline-driven

Desirable:

  • Background in regulated environments (e.g., medical, ISO 13485, cGxP)
  • Experience testing physical, chemical or mechanical properties
  • Basic Excel skills
