Are you ready to take on a leadership role in product development within Prime Financial Services? As a Product Development Vice President, you will be involved in building out our product strategy, leading initiatives to improve existing product sets, or even create new ones from scratch. You will work closely with other teams throughout the organization to support the Prime Financial Services business. If you have a strong understanding of Securities Lending and Prime Brokerage fundamentals including margin, collateral management, internalization and stock lending lifecycle event processing, you have found the right team.
As a Product Development Vice President, you will be the sole point of contact and escalation point for all product, technology, and operational inquiries related to assigned projects. You will lead Financing projects on behalf of the business from inception through to implementation, ultimately accountable for meeting these mandates. You will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to deliver commercial and robust product solutions related to Stock Borrow Loan, Pricing & Rates management, Analytics & Optimization, whilst satisfying the Regulatory agenda.
Job Responsibilities- Be the sole point of contact and escalation point for all product, technology, and operational inquiries related to assigned projects.
- Lead Securities Financing projects on behalf of the business from inception through to implementation, ultimately accountable for meeting these mandates.
- Identify profitable, efficient product enhancement concepts that reflect revenue opportunities.
- Partner with functional groups to deliver effective strategic solutions, on time, and on budget.
- Ensure the product investment is clearly aligned to commercial business objectives.
- Partner in creating the product roadmap, defining the business requirements, and managing sponsored deliverables throughout the development cycle, ensuring tangible and successful end-to-end delivery.
- Conduct business analysis by collaborating with trading, sales, middle office and technology partners to understand their current processes and pain points, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work experience in Securities Lending & Prime Brokerage.
- Extensive product knowledge and expertise directly in product development.
- Partner with business stakeholders to determine the business goals that clients want to achieve and the products/processes that will support those goals.
- Ability to think strategically in designing end-to-end solutions, re-engineering business and operational processes as required.
- The role requires a logical mind, perseverance, the ability to communicate ideas well, and the ability to effectively target messages to different audiences.
- Gather information through process mapping, flow-charting, data analysis, and make recommendations to meet product objectives and workshops to determine and develop improved process engineering, prepare presentations.
- Lead programs across multiple streams of work simultaneously while balancing the business, client, and regulatory needs versus budgetary pressures.
- Empower team members and functional partners to succeed and deliver value-added solutions to the business.
