Position: Relief Security Officer

Pay Rate:PR12.21 Minimum – Varies Depending on site

Hours: 36 +hours, Days, Nights and weekend

Transport:Must have Licence and access to a vehicle,- Bothwell House, Kestrel View, Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill, Glasgow, ML4 3RA

Requirements:Must possess a valid SIA licence, no licence – can still be considered and training will be provided

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• To provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.
• Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.
• Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. (NB: the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before being able to start work on operational shifts).
• Display an outstanding level of customer service.
• Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have.
• Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
• Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

Qualifications

Essential Skills

• SIA Licence- No licence – can still be considered and training will be provided
• Access to vehicle/good transport links? Able to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute)
• Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history
• Reference :Bothwell House, Kestrel View, Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill, Glasgow, ML4 3RA
