Cross Keys Care is seeking a dedicated and conscientious Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Lapwing Apartments in Orton Brimbles on a permanent contract. Lapwing Apartments is a stylish, high-quality extra care development with 54 apartments, specially designed for the over 65s.

As a Care Worker, you will work with vulnerable individuals to help them live their lives to the full. It is a highly rewarding 'people' role. You will be a vital part of their support system, often being the only professional they establish a relationship with.

Your daily routine will vary based on the needs of the individuals you care for. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with washing and dressing
  • Eating and drinking
  • Helping with daily activities
  • Cooking
  • Shopping
  • Repositioning them comfortably in bed

Requirements:

16-hour contract. Competitive hourly rates: £13.25 Monday – Friday, £13.74 on bank holidays and weekends. Full training provided, leading to a Certificate in Care. Free uniform, PPE, and DBS check. Paid holidays, including bank holidays. Position subject to satisfactory DBS and references. Great pension scheme; CKH will double employee contributions up to 10%.
