Assistant Head Cashier – £50,000 – £60,000 – Guildford, Surrey (Hybrid Working)
Trace Recruit is delighted to be supporting a Legal Firm, who are on the hunt for an Assistant Head Cashier.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head Cashier on the day-to-day management of the Client and Office teams and support the wider cashiering team of 14.
About Your New Role
- Working closely with the Head Cashier in the day-to-day management of the cashiering function.
- Working on project work (support on the transition of the IT systems).
- Processing Client and Office account transactions.
- Bank reconciliation daily and monthly.
- Assistant with the annual audit.
- Updating cashiering processes and procedures.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist with appraisals and development of team members.
- Undertake the running of monthly interest calculations.
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong Cashiering background (ideally over 5 years in a Law Firm).
- Must have experience of time reporting (ideally within a Law Firm).
- Experience using Aderant would be helpful.
- Work well under pressure and in a busy environment.
- High level of detail and accuracy.
- Strong communications skills and confident when dealing with stakeholders.
This is a superb role for someone with 5 plus years’ experience in a busy Cashiering role looking for their next step. As the Assistant Head Cashier, you will be working amongst a fantastic peer group who are extremely supportive and collaborative.
